About Us

Hi I’m Lisa and this is my small business Dawdle Box. A little bit of cheer to bring to the table, a little craft for the not so crafty, a chance to connect with those you love while getting creative – this is Dawdle Box.

Dawdle Box started in 2019 with the simple idea: the best get-togethers are the ones where you make something together. Slowing down, doing something with your hands, getting creative and connecting with others. From this our tag line of “Connecting through creativity” was formed.

Over the years we have grown to understand a group isn’t for everyone, so we began selling some of our kits as individuals for those looking for a moment of calm and mindfulness.

All our designs are made by me, the good, the bad and the ones I thought would be a huge success but failed. The Mosaic Pots are the originals and still a very popular choice, we have added the Tic-tac-toes, and our Paint & Create kits are still evolving – many more opportunities for me to have bright and not so bright ideas!

I am often asked why the name Dawdle box and the answer is simple – its memorable and it’s true.  Dawdle Box was designed to take time, in essence to dawdle.  It’s not about rushing or getting it done, it’s about spending time with others, connecting and creating something unique.

Every order is made and hand-packed by me, right here in Queensland.

We are made for get-togethers be it a hens party, birthday, baby shower, team days, date nights or a quiet night in – our kits are beginner friendly, and everyone goes home with something they have made.
